Yu-Gi-Oh! 2025 NSW State Championship Event Information

This event is only open to players who have preregistered and received a confirmation of registration email. Applicants on the wait list and unregistered players are welcome to attend on the day in the event seats become available due to no-shows. Preference will be given to wait-list players in order of registration, followed by walk-ins based on their time of arrival.

  • Date: Sunday 11 May 2025
  • Entry fee: $25 to be paid on arrival - we accept cash and most cards.
  • Format: 7 rounds of Swiss followed by cut to Top 8, based on 65-120 players.
  • Judge: Will be present
  • Deck list: Must be submitted via Neuron to participate. Paper forms will not be accepted.

10:30am Tournament play (swiss) commences
5:30pm Swiss play ends, Prizing for exiting players, break for Top 8.
6:00pm Tournament play (top cut) commences
9:00pm Tournament ends

Venue

  • Access: will be restricted to the main entrance on High Street until tournament play commences for Round 1.
  • Spectators: Due to the limited space available, non-participating spectators will not be permitted entry.
  • Trading: The trading of singles is allowed, as card-for-card or card-for-product only. Cash trades (physical or EFT) are not permitted on-site.
  • Store: The retail section of the store will be open to players but closed to the public for the duration of the event.
  • Facilities: Toilets are located onsite. There are no kitchen, cooking, or hot water facilities available.
  • Smoking: Mega Games is a non-smoking venue. For the comfort of other players, we respectfully ask that you move away from the doors when smoking.
  • Safety - Evacuation Assembly Areas: In the event of emergency evacuation, please exit the store and gather on the grassed area outside Judges carpark (rear exit) or in front of the TAB on the opposite side of High Street (main exit). Please do not leave the area unless otherwise instructed to do so by Mega Games staff or emergency services.

Mega Games is located 478 High Street Penrith NSW 2750

  • Public Transport: The store is short 5-minute walk from Penrith Station.
  • Parking: Mega Games has limited spaces available in our free onsite car park which can be accessed via Union Lane. Alternatively, free parking is also available in Judges carpark, located directly behind the store. Judges is open from 7am to 10pm and can be accessed via Woodriff Street or The Broadway (from Station Street). You can access High Street from both car parks via Parker Arcade.

Food/drinks

Mega Games offers a selection of cold beverages ranging from $2- $6 each. You may prepurchase drinks and collect them over the course of the day.
